 State Surveys is a surveying firm specialising in cadastral (land boundaries) and engineering surveys. State Surveys commenced practise in 1989 by founder Arthur Patiniotis and has grown into a leader in the provision of surveying services to the whole of South Australia. With its offices in the inner Adelaide metropolitan suburb of Keswick, State Surveys further increased in size by acquiring surveying firm Cavallo Forest in 2002. State Surveys has a client base which is increasing due to its commitment to customer service. Arthur Patiniotis - Principal Prior to founding State Surveys in 1989, Arthur spent 20 years with the Public Buildings Department as senior technical officer. His extensive experience in small to large and very complex detail surveys demonstrates his knowledge in all aspects of the construction process. Email: arthur@statesurveys.com.au Mobile: 0418 845 945 Rocco Cavallo - Licensed Surveyor Rocco has had over 20 years experience with surveying firms including 11 years as a partner of Cavallo Forest & Associates (now incorporated into State Surveys). Most of his experience has been in the cadastral field from small scale land divisions to large subdivisions borth in South Australia and Victoria. He has also been involved in large quality assurance projects such as the South Road/Marion Road widening at Darlington. Due to the large volume of certified surveys Rocco undertakes, he maintains a strong professional relationship with Lands Titles Office staff. Email: rocco@statesurveys.com.au Mobile: 0418 857 405 David Stacey - Office Manager / Drafter David has over 10 years of experience in the spatial information sector and specialises in cadastral and cartographic drafting, software automation and systems. First employed in 1993 by the then City of Noarlunga to develop a G.I.S. application and perform feasibility studies, David became skilled in software programming and key CAD technologies. In 1994, David won a drafting position for a large surveying firm where he advanced his hand drafting and CAD skills. Upon the return to Adelaide in 1998, he played a key role in advancing CAD technologies and maintained a complex computer network. David joined State Surveys in April 2003 and was appointed Office Manager. Prior to joining State Surveys he was employed by the then Department of Lands, Adelaide City Council, Highways Department and the Department of Technical and Further Education. John's experience totals 41 years in most facets of surveying including 20 years teaching surveying to students. Greg Lane - Graduate Surveyor Greg graduated from the University of Queensland in 1986 with a Bachelor of Surveying (with honours) and has since worked throughout Australia in most disciplines of surveying. Greg's experience in the surveying industry includes cadastral surveys, engineering project control, topographic and feature surveys, mapping control, precise industrial surveys, mining control, stockpile volumes and building and road set-out.
